The King's School
Logo, branding and signage for a highly regarded grammar school.
Overview
We partnered with one of the UK's most prestigious grammar schools, renowned for educating Sir Isaac Newton, to modernise its visual identity and communications. The project included a comprehensive brand refresh and the development of a cohesive design system across print, digital, and environmental touchpoints.
Deliverables included brand guidelines, prospectuses, admissions materials, stationery, signage, presentation templates, and wider marketing collateral. The resulting identity balances heritage and innovation, providing a flexible framework that supports the school's reputation for academic excellence while engaging future generations of students and parents.
A Cohesive Signage Strategy
We designed and supported the signage throughout the school, ensuring every space reflects a cohesive, contemporary look while respecting the historic character of the buildings. This included wayfinding signage, site map and directories, building identification signage, interior room and departmental signage, exterior entrance and directional signs, and branded environmental graphics that help create a clear and consistent experience for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Transforming the Schools Digital Presence
Fuse also supported the school's digital transformation through the design of key website pages and user experience recommendations, helping create a more cohesive online presence that reflected the school's heritage, academic excellence, and future ambitions.
